You're invited to the first OURS Salon!
Possibilia Issue 0 presales are starting!
Hi friends -
On Sunday, August 9, the Foundation for Future Aesthetics is hosting OURS — our debut one-night exhibition and salon in NYC. And big news: this is where we launch the presale for Possibilia’s first print edition as well as a exclusive story printed in the event booklet!
It’s an evening built around optimistic visions of the future and the agency being expressed to get us there: art on the walls, talks from thinkers and builders alike, and a room full of spirits that don’t yet know that they’re kindred. Techno-optimists, founders, creatives, biohackers, grad students, retvrners, seasoned veterans, and all other creators of the next era are welcome. Doors at 6pm, dress smart casual, free to attend but you have to apply because spots are limited. More at futureaesthetics.foundation/ours
The night will feature provocations from the finest: Tamara Winter (Stripe Press), Erika Alden DeBenedictis (Pioneer Labs), and Geoff Anders (Leverage) will all be on the mic. Plus video visions fashioned into a museum-movie installation from the likes of Ada Palmer, Audrey Tang, and Neil Harbisson to name a few.

Applying to attend
Space is very limited, and every spot is by approval, so include a short note about who you are and why you’d like to attend. Once you’re accepted, you’re welcome to bring a +1, but please add them!
Want to take part?
Two ways beyond attending:
We can always use a hand before or after the show — volunteers to help with set-up and tear-down welcome :)
Our “Visions of the Future” installation is still accepting short videos. Just record and submit a ~3-minute clip on one specific future you’d want to live in and what you’re doing to get us there.
To reach out about either, email me at olli@futureaesthetics.foundation
Possibilia Issue 0 — presales begin at OURS
OURS is where we launch presales for Possibilia Issue 0 - our first print edition. Dylan Weiler’s original canvas painting which we commissioned for the cover of Issue 0 will be hanging on the wall, and you’ll be able to reserve your copy that night.
Issue 0 also carries an exclusive story that debuts in the printed program and won’t be published online until way after the magazine ships.
Can’t make it on the 9th? Keep an eye on your inbox the day after when we’ll be opening Possibilia presales online, too!
Thank you for being here early, and for waiting patiently. We’re almost there.
Your optimistic realist,
Olli Payne
